Cali, NYC, and Chicago, these cities were just a few hit hard during protests and Covid-19. To show our support to POC during this difficult time, we try to do a small part in investing completely in black-owned restaurants and encouraging our readers to do the same. This is a small form of breeding activism within our own communities, and we need to uplift each other as much as possible during this time. Many white business owners have made the conscious decision to close, in order to show solidarity with POC and acknowledge that they have benefited from their own privilege.
Protect our community of black brothers and sisters by keeping their businesses thriving.
